Details of sources examined and results, both positive and negative, will be
sent to you, usually within 5 working days for a few hours research. With larger
research commissions you will receive regular progress reports.
My hourly service may be used to select a pre-determined budget for your family
tree research, or to purchase research in blocks if you want to spread the cost.
You may purchase a single hour at £12.50 (includes travel and parking costs), 2-5 hours at £11 per

In order that I can provide you with the best possible service, please
provide me with as much information as possible for the area you
want investigated, including copies of certificates and other sources that you
are already aware of. You may send a family tree diagram or a GEDCOM.
This will ensure that you are not paying me to duplicate the information you
already have, or to search areas you have already looked. Only if you give
me thorough background information, will I hopefully be able to help you

Copies of Documents
If you require copies of documents or parish register entries, please add
on a camera licence fee, which is charged by Gloucestershire Archives (subject to
copyright and permission) at £5 per day (which equates to every five hours of research).
Generally, I only take copies of entries which relate to your
direct ancestors, otherwise this could waste your research time. Please
advise if you have other requirements. Whilst I always try to obtain the
best possible image for you, quality can vary according to the condition of
the original document or the quality of the fiche. Images of documents will be sent
electronically.
GRO Certificates
Payment for GRO certificates as required. The price of £9.95 includes a digital copy and
administration fees. Please note certificates are for clients who
are buying my research services and are not offered as a one-off purchase,
for which I recommend you order direct from the
General Register Office.
